Welcome from Susan and Steve!

We fell in love with this beautiful property in 2014 while on vacation. What sold us was the stunning view of Okanagan Lake and the nearby vineyards. Having the rear of the property back onto the famous KVR trail was also a fabulous feature since we both love hiking, nature and the outdoors.
​
We designed our home from the beginning to have two deluxe and private suites. We also wanted to give our guests the option to cook meals and to feel completely relaxed on their private patio with a glass of wine, enjoying the beautiful Okanagan sunsets. We have two bikes (with helmets) that you can borrow.
This year we now have a new Gazebo and hot tub that our guests can use and we also have a Tesla level 2 destination charger for those that need an electric refill!

About our Home
Singing Marmot Guest Suites are contained within our newly constructed home. The home is located on 1.5 acres with panoramic views of Okanagan lake and the nearby vineyards.

To make our home a "healthy home" we have incorporated many features to ensure exceptional indoor air quality including:

no carpets
-
zero VOC paint throughout
-
no products known to have high 'offgassing' potential
-
no mold
-
no pets within the suites (although we do have two cats in our house)
-
no smoking within the home
-
air conditioned with a continuous air-exchange system
-
fragrance-free bathroom products
-
also, we do not use any scented products, including fabric softeners, to clean the bedding and suites.

Also, for those persons who suffer from, or are concerned about electromagnetic radiation we can disconnect the wireless router in the suite upon request.
There are no cordless phones, smart meters or any other device that emits EMR within our home except for our occasional use of our one cell phone. There are no cell towers or high voltage transmission lines nearby.

As a result of our design and other 'green' initiatives our home has recently been awarded a "Platinum-level Green Leaders" certification by TripAdvisor. This recognises hotels and B&Bs leading the hospitality industry in environmentally preferable practices.
